There is an emanation from the heart

which cannot be described,

but is immediately felt and puts

the stranger at his ease.

~Washington Irving

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough...

.........and more.

It turns denial into acceptance,
chaos to order, confusion to clarity.

It can turn a meal into a feast,

a house into a home,

a stranger into a friend.

~Melody Beattie

Don't be satisfied with stories,

how things have gone with others.

Unfold your own myth.
~Rumi

May my life be like a great

hospitable tree, and may

weary wanderers find in

me a rest.

~John Henry Jowett

Be Brave, Be the Love

Just because the world
always needs more Love.............

"I sowed the seeds of love
And I sowed them in the Spring.
I gathered them up in the
morning so soon
While the small birds do sweetly sing."
~F. Habergham, 1690

"If I speak in the tongues of men or of
angels, but do not have Love,
I am only a resounding gong
or a clanging cymbal."
I Corinthians 13:1

"You must be the change you
wish to see in the world."
~Ghandi

If you want Love in the world
around you,
BE the Love.

If you're being led by fear, instead,
Be the Love.

If there are voices of distrust
and judgement all around,
Be the Love.

If the bully is at your door,
Be the Love.

If the stranger is among you,
Be the Love.

In all things,
Be the Love.

"Have enough courage to

trust love one more time
and always one more time."
~Maya Angelou

"The purpose of human life is to serve,
to show compassion,
and the will to help others."
~Albert Schweitzer

"The shape of the
Universe is Love."
~Richard Rohr

"Spread Love
everywhere you go."
~Mother Teresa

"There is no fear in love.
But perfect love drives out fear,
because fear has to do
with punishment.
The one who fears is not
made perfect in love.
We love because He first loved us."
I John 4:18-19

Be Brave, Be the Love

" 'Courage, dear heart,'
and the voice, she felt sure,
was Aslan's, and with the
voice a delicious smell
breathed in her face."
~Aslan/C.S. Lewis,
'The Voyage of the Dawn Treader'
